On Friday, May 24, our ophthalmologists will talk about the importance of preventive vision examinations for all three-year-old children, preschool children will be screened with the aim of early detection of low vision and farsightedness, and parents will be educated about all other activities they should undertake in order to ensure good vision for their children.

Dermatologistwill 24. i On May 25, conduct a workshop that will draw parents’ and children’s attention to various types of prevention of the sun’s harmful effects on the skin, to the importance of examining skin moles by dermatologists and pediatricians. Children and parents will be trained how to self-examine skin moles and photoprotection of moles.

On Saturday, May 25, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to our pediatricians. They will give advice regarding the proper nutrition of infants and children of different ages, prevention and treatment of obesity, which shows an increasing trend in Serbia. In addition to these topics, our pediatricians will also talk about intestinal infections and the importance of proper hand hygiene, which is extremely important for the upcoming summer period. In the lectures, you will hear a lot about viral infections of the respiratory tract and diseases caused by allergies. Children’s lung capacity tests (spirometry) will also be performed.

The Cardiology Department of the Health Center will perform preventive blood pressure measurements on May 24.

Due to the blooming season of a large number of grasses and trees, employees in the laboratory of the Health Center will point out the importance of timely detection of numerous inhalant allergens by applying very simple, comfortable and safe allergy tests that can be performed already in children at the earliest age. 20:00 hours.
