20th Winter Congress of the European Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons

In the period from February 26 to 28, 2016, the 20th Winter Congress of the European Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons was held in Athens. It is one of the largest ophthalmology gatherings that takes place twice a year and gathers the most famous names from around the world in the field of ophthalmology.

Among the topics that attracted the most attention at this year’s congress, we single out the application of femtolaser in refractive surgery and cataract surgery, as well as the newest platform of world technology, the application of Nanosecond laser in cataract surgery.

The representative of Perfect Vision, Dr. Branka Ivošević, participated in the surgical course where the current world hit implantation of specially designed Morcher intraocular lenses, which are installed in a unique way and place, according to the recommendations of the world-famous MJ Tassignon, was presented . Also, we actively participated in the surgical course Special techniques for fixing intraocular artificial lenses.
