As the end of the year approaches, we look back on all that we have accomplished, the important decisions that have defined the period behind us, and the memories that we have created. For us, 2018 was a year of big and important decisions, a year in which we opened a new chapter.

In this year, we started and finished in record time the project of renovating the existing ambulatory area and building a new operating block. At the very beginning, in 2010, our work was organized in only 3 rooms. Today, we have 5 modernly equipped ophthalmology clinics, a cabinet for laser dioptre removal and an operating block with two operating rooms and accompanying rooms.

Listening to the demands of an increasing number of patients who come to our clinic from more distant parts of our country and abroad, we built modern apartments allowing patients to stay within the clinic. In addition to bed and breakfast for the patient and his companion, accommodation in apartments also includes twenty-four-hour supervision by medical staff.

In the past year, our team has been significantly strengthened and now has 22 members , of which 10 are ophthalmologists whose decades of experience and over 50,000 performed operations represent the greatest guarantee of quality for our patients.

In order to be even more accessible to our patients, we have established a call center and are now available to patients from 08:00 to 20:00, 6 days a week.

In this year, we have encountered increased requests from patients for the installation of premium multifocal intraocular lenses that allow good vision after the age of 40 at all distances, without glasses and contact lenses. We have positioned ourselves as one of the institutions with the largest number of performed operations with the installation of the latest generation of multifocal lenses – trifocal intraocular lenses that have three focuses and, in addition to good vision at near and far, enable good vision at the so-called. intermediate distance (which is especially important for people who spend a lot of time in front of the computer or driving).

Through participation in numerous congresses and professional gatherings , we worked hard on our own improvement, acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge that enabled us to organize our work in accordance with the highest world standards.

Throughout the year, we organized various promotions, discounts and other financial benefits . In particular, we would like to point out the great promotion of 50% discount on laser dioptre removal, with which this service in our eye center has become by far the most affordable not only in Serbia but also in the entire region.

In this year as well, we continued to organize a large number of humanitarian projects, to which we provided a significant contribution to the improvement of health care. We carried out educations and examinations in the field, all with the aim of increasing the population’s awareness of the importance of preventive health care.

Through numerous public appearances on TV and radio shows, through articles in newspapers, magazines and online portals, our doctors have educated and familiarized you with the most common eye diseases and modern approaches to their diagnosis and treatment. Our quality was also recognized by well-known television personalities such as Suzana Mančić and Milica Bursać, who, in addition to recording shows, also became our patients.

In short, for us this year 2018 was a year that we will remember and that will remain recorded in the annals of our institution as a year of important changes.

Strengthened, we continue on, optimistically making plans for the new year 2019 and every year that awaits us. In every day of the new year, we will try to justify the trust that our patients place in us, and in return we will provide them with more than they expect from us.
