Below are answers to some of the most common questions about laser diopter removal.
How successful is laser diopter removal?
According to the World Health Organization, the global success rate of laser diopter removal is around 95%, with less than 1% complication rate, making it extremely safe for patients. Our success rate exceeds 99.8%.

Is the operation painful and how long does it take?
Laser diopter removal is painless thanks to drop anesthesia. The entire procedure for both eyes takes approximately 10 minutes.
When will I see clearly again?
Immediately after the procedure, patients experience the so-called “wow effect”, characteristic of laser diopter removal. The first signs of improved vision appear right away, and full stabilization of visual acuity is usually achieved within 5–7 days.
When can I return to work after surgery?
Most daily activities can be resumed within a few days. Returning to work is possible after 5–7 days, unless the job involves heavy physical labor, dirty or dusty environments, or sports activities, which are recommended only after 3–4 weeks.
