Our experts side by side with world names – impressions from the SSCRS 2025 congress

From May 9 to 11, Belgrade hosted one of the most significant ophthalmological events in
region – the first congress of the Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons of Serbia (SSCRS), which will
traditionally held every year and gathering top experts from the country, the region and the world.

This year’s gathering at the Crowne Plaza Hotel was marked by exceptionally well-attended lectures and exchanges
experiences, discussions on the latest technologies and trends in cataract and refractive surgery,
as well as a strong presence of international names:

What we particularly emphasize is the fact that Dr. Ivošević, at the invitation of the organizers, was one of the
moderator of the session on refractive surgery, which further confirms her professional reputation and

Glaucoma and cataract – domestic expertise in full glory

Associates of the Center for Laser Eye Surgery, prof. Dr. Ivan Marjanović and Prof. Dr. Alexander
Miljković, participated in a session dedicated to glaucoma, where they held lectures on the topic
surgical treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and combined procedures. Their presentations are once again
showed that the most modern techniques for solving these problems are successfully applied in our country as well
complex ophthalmological problems.
