In the organization of the Association of Business Women of Serbia, on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at the Madlenianum Opera and Theater in Belgrade, the awarding of the prestigious “Flower of Success for the Dragon Woman” awards was held.
Bearing in mind that this year the Association of Business Women of Serbia celebrates two decades of existence and work, this year’s award ceremony had a special specificity. In the past 12 years, 118 women have been awarded this prestigious award, in various categories. Among them, 19 candidates were selected, who were nominated for the “Dragon Woman over Dragons” award.
Dr. Branka Ivošević, winner of the “Flower of Success for a Dragon Woman 2013” award, in the “Most European Women’s Firm” category, was included in the short circle of winners.
The award ceremony was organized under the auspices of the Coordinating Body for Gender Equality of the Ministry of Economy, the German Organization for International Cooperation GIZ, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Serbia, SME Week and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Journalists of the renowned magazine „Poslovna žena“ expressed their desire to conduct an interview with Dr. Branka Ivošević, the winner of this year’s award „Flower of Success for a Dragon Woman“ in the category of the most European female company. Describing her as a „wizard with a scalpel“, interesting and creative questions revealed something more about Dr. Ivošević’s business and private life, her past and future endeavors, attitudes and thoughts on topics such as: the position of female entrepreneurs, challenges faced by female surgeons, the relationship between state and private healthcare, innovations in the field of ophthalmology and many others.

Referring to the recently received award „Flower of Success for the Dragon Woman“ in the category „The most European female company“, the doctor openly talked about her impressions, but also the long-term work and dedication behind this recognition. Emphasizing the importance of prevention in health care, the doctor presented in more detail some of the innovative services that Perfect Vision provides to its patients, which are aligned with the latest ophthalmological trends, as well as some of the actions that Perfect Vision implements in order to improve the health care of its fellow citizens.

“The Flower of Success for the Dragon Woman” was the first established award affirm successful female entrepreneurs in Serbia, and in the last six years, almost 60 women have received this recognition.
The expert jury composed of representatives of the Association of Business Women, as well as women in management positions in institutions relevant to the development of female entrepreneurship, is at the ceremony in the theater „Madlenianum“ in Belgrade on October 29, 2013. year, awarded the prestigious awards „ Flower of success for the woman of the dragon“ within several categories.
In a competition of 38 candidates from almost all of Serbia, the prize for “Most European Women’s Firm” was awarded to Dr. Branka Ivošević, founder and owner of the Specialist Ophthalmology Practice “Perfect Vision”, as well as Danijela Bishkup (co-owner and director of the company “Identity plus”). Awards for the best employment model were presented to Jarmila Bohuš (director of the company „Agroplod“) and Svetlana Vučković (owner of the agency „Nana SV“), and the award in the subcategory “self-employment” went to Olgica Arađanski (owner of the boutique “Sveća”).
Special recognition awards are for improving the quality of life, innovative entrepreneurship, employment of rural women, penetration of new markets, entrepreneurial venture in rural tourism and for affirming female entrepreneurship.
The slogan of this year’s manifestation was “Women know how to be successful“, and the ceremony was attended by representatives of the Association of Business Women of Serbia, representatives of the Government of Serbia, businessmen, sponsors of the manifestation, the diplomatic corps…
