My name is Gebles Lajos, I am 60 years old and I had cataract surgery at the Health Center. Before the operation, my vision was very poor, I could not recognize my acquaintances and friends on the street. However, what I regret the most are my pigeons. I had cataracts in both eyes and could not recognize people at a distance of 10 meters and sometimes further. I wore glasses for a long time and I got quite tired of them, so I wanted to remove my -3.5 and -4.5 diopters by laser. I came for an examination at the Perfect Vision clinic, where Dr. Ivošević established that, due to the initial cataract, I am not a good candidate for laser dioptre removal. After consultation with the doctor, thinking and information, I decided to install multifocal intraocular lenses. I was very afraid before the operation, but as I read a lot about this operation and listened to the experiences of other patients, my fear slowly disappeared. And really, the surgery is not scary or painful at all, and the whole procedure was made easier by the very friendly staff who explained each procedure to me, preparing me for each move that would follow. The feeling after leaving the operating room is incredible, because even then I could see much sharper than before the operation. As for Dr. Ivošević, I really don’t know how to thank her, I have never met such a doctor – she has golden hands! The whole team is golden, everyone is friendly and ready to help. It’s hard for me to think of all the nice words I have for them, I really can say all the nicest! They were like that not only to me, but to all patients, from beginning to end. I am SO SATISFIED!
I was born on July 7, 1970. I have been visually impaired since childhood and did not wear glasses in time, which is why my vision did not fully develop. I heard about the possibilities of the operation on TV and decided to have the operation. My visual acuity was 30-40%, and now just one day after the operation, after they implanted a lens in my left eye, it is 100%. The nurses and the doctor are very pleasant and kind. I live in Molo and I traveled to Subotica to the Health Center to have a cataract surgery on my right eye. Before the operation, I couldn’t read, I couldn’t see how to thread, so I couldn’t do needlework, which I loved the most. Since the operation, I can embroider tapestry and crochet again. I have been wearing glasses since I was 12 years old. At first, my diopter was -3.5, but eventually it reached -9.5 and -8.5. I opted for the laser dioptre removal surgery because, as expensive as it may seem, this surgery costs far less than the cost of the glasses and lenses I’ve been using for years. I wore glasses with very thick lenses and they gave me a lot of trouble every day – in the morning I could never see the time, and everything I did at night, I did in complete darkness. My whole family works in the hospital, so we did a lot of research on the Internet, looking for clinics that provide this service. Of all the doctors we found, we liked Dr. Branka Ivošević from Subotica the most. She seemed the most convincing and committed to us. My dad is 01.05.2014. was in Subotica and on that occasion he expressed his desire to visit the Health Center and get to know their staff. He was really delighted, so we decided to perform the operation right here. My laser eye surgery was 4 weeks ago. Everything went great – it wasn’t painful or uncomfortable, I was just a little swollen and had some discomfort the first day after surgery, which is completely normal. Now I feel great! My visual acuity is 100%! It’s a wonderful feeling when I get up in the morning and see the time right away, now I’m constantly reading license plates in the distance and I get excited when I see little things like rocks on the road. Everything was just as I expected! Everyone is nice and what I like most is that the patient is not just a number for them, but they treat everyone like their loved ones!

It’s been almost a month since laser dioptre removal and I can honestly say that the results are extremely satisfactory. The procedure itself is not painful, and already after 76 hours I could see perfectly, without any discomfort or pain. I think this intervention is the best investment for anyone who has diopters that can be removed with a laser. The staff are friendly and made me feel comfortable and welcome, which made the whole process an even better experience. I’m just surprised how well I can see and the first couple of days it was even weird. I am thrilled and wish I had done this sooner. I would recommend laser dioptre removal to everyone, especially at the Perfect Vision clinic, because everyone is wonderful, expert, professional and kind.
After 17 years of wearing glasses and contact lenses, I am so happy that I can finally see with my own eyes, without any aids!
