I am extremely pleased that I had the opportunity to remove the dioptre at the House of Health because it completely changed my life for the better. I wore glasses for about 5 years and regardless of the fact that they were not a big dioptre, I could not get used to glasses as something that I had to wear all the time. The very arrival at the Health Center was more than pleasant, from the reception to the nurses and the doctor. Everyone is very kind and warm. After a detailed examination, they determined that I am a candidate for removing the diopter and that due to the dryness of the eye, they will perform the procedure using the PRK method. The operation itself was completely painless and lasted about 10 minutes. Now, about 10 days after the surgery and not wearing glasses, I can say that I feel great, my vision is not completely clear yet, but that is normal during recovery after the PRK method. The diopter in my left eye was -4.25 and in the right eye -1.25, and due to the big difference in diopters, I decided to undergo laser diopter removal surgery. The first impression upon arrival at the clinic was extremely positive. Friendly staff, high level of cleanliness and easy to find the clinic itself, which has its own large parking lot. The preparation and the intervention itself went according to plan, without any stress. The intervention was painless and every step was explained to me in advance. The result of the intervention was quickly visible, and with adherence to the doctor’s suggestions, the postoperative recovery took place without unpleasantness and discomfort. Today, one year after the operation, the inspection confirmed that the findings were correct, so my satisfaction is complete.

I came for the operation in a week, I was very scared. However, I was unnecessarily nervous, the sisters are wonderful and helped me overcome my fear. A week after the operation, I feel fantastic because I finally saw the light of day, thanks to Dr. Ivošević and Prof. Gabric. The staff is to be commended and I wish all the best to the workers of this ophthalmology clinic.
I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 10 years old and my diopters were constantly increasing, eventually reaching -7.0. I became addicted to glasses, because I couldn’t see anything without them. Sometimes I wore contact lenses, but considering their harmfulness, I couldn’t rely on it. I really wanted to undergo the intervention of laser dioptre removal, but Dr. Ivošević, my eye doctor for many years, told me that I should wait until I was 20 years old. Those years finally arrived and I was overjoyed to be able to have the surgery. Everything went great, I didn’t have any pain and it was very short, I didn’t even realize it was over thanks to the doctor who was very pleasant and talked to me throughout the operation to encourage me. It’s been a little over a month since the surgery and I feel great. It is incredible that a person can get rid of such a burden in just 10 minutes. Life without glasses is great and I’m so happy!

Nowadays, when people are full of problems and lack of time, you come to a house called the House of Health. I would rather say the House of Good Health! Because I came there a week ago, Dr. Ivošević operated on cataracts on both eyes at once. I probably wasn’t even aware of everything I was getting myself into… However, I was overjoyed! That evening I could already read the translation of the film on television. What can I say, what luck! Everything went so fast and so well and here is a week after the operation I can see perfectly well and I am very satisfied!
