13th Congress of Ophthalmologists of Serbia

From October 17 to 20, the 13 congress of ophthalmologists of Serbia attended by doctors from the “House of Health” ophthalmology team.
The congress was attended by over 600 ophthalmologists from Serbia and the surrounding area, while the lecturers included ophthalmologists from Sweden, Germany, Russia and surrounding countries.
On the first day of the congress, a ceremonial opening and an introductory lecture were held, which was held by prof. dr Seregard, president of the European Association of Ophthalmologists.
During the congress, a large number of lectures were held in several halls, and covered the most important aspects of modern ophthalmology.
The topics were very diverse and included medicated retina, retinal surgery, glaucoma, corneal diseases, cataract, refractive surgery, neuroophthalmology, eye trauma and pediatric ophthalmology.
The goal of each of a serious and modern medical team is that through continuous medical education improves and expands his knowledge. Achieving the best possible quality of services through monitoring modern aspects of technology and treatment approaches is our motto.
We want to enable the most effective prevention and treatment of a wide variety of eye diseases, and the way to that is, among other things, visiting national congresses, where through talking with colleagues from the country and the surrounding area, one gets an insight into the broader picture of the nation’s health and the methods of diagnosis and treatment applied in various regional centers.
