A new service that provides the maximum in cataract surgery

As a result, we have enriched our wide range of services with another one. This is a microincisional cataract surgery that is the highest standard in cataract surgery. 

The benefits of this cataract surgery are numerous. The surgery is less invasive, and the postoperative recovery is shorter and more conformist for the patient. Wound healing is faster, due to the minimum incision of 2.0 to 2.2 mm, which results in faster vision recovery and less postoperative astigmatism (diopters). The end result is better vision and a faster return to everyday life.

This microsurgery allows ultrasound cataract surgery with minimal incision in the eye, without stitches. In place of the cloudy eye lens, a special one-piece aspherical lens is implanted, which is far thinner than a standard spherical lens and provides better quality of vision. Thanks to the type of these lenses with a special yellow filter, additional protection of the yellow spot is also provided. These specially designed lenses have, like the natural human lens, the ability to filter UV rays as well as the blue part of the sunlight spectrum, thus protecting the eye from the harmful effects of these rays, giving it excellent visual acuity and color vision (color recognition).
