Organizing educational lectures and free screenings throughout Vojvodina

In order to raise awareness about the importance of preventive eye examinations, we launched a new project that involves organizing educational lectures with free eye pressure measurement and eye fundus examinations, in cities throughout Vojvodina. 

The topic of the lecture is “How to preserve vision – modern treatment of eye diseases”. Through such a broadly defined topic, we will try to cover several different, very common eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, visual impairment in diabetics, etc. and provide all the necessary information related to the origin of these diseases, symptoms that patients can recognize, and certainly ways of proper and timely treatment. A topic that we pay a lot of attention to is the laser removal of dioptres, as a painless and reliable procedure for permanently solving the addiction to wearing glasses or contact lenses, with an immediate effect. 

In order to contribute to the early detection and treatment of some visually very dangerous diseases, after the lecture, we will measure the eye pressure and check the fundus for free. All attendees will have the opportunity to ask anything they are interested in and receive a professional doctor’s opinion on the spot. The lecturer is Branka Ivošević, Ph.D., a specialist in ophthalmology and the owner of the eye center “Perfect Vision”. –>
