Experience the joy of giving! – humanitarian action

Do you remember when you were a child excitedly opening the presents under the Christmas tree? Brighten up the holidays for others! Experience the joy of giving!

It was with great pleasure that we responded to the invitation to participate in the humanitarian action “Experience the joy of giving!”. The residents of the “Lurko” house really need help. We hope that by purchasing a freezer, we have met at least a small part of their basic needs.

“Lurko” houses

Homes for children operate in Hajdukov, Drljani and Bečej as part of the Franciscan foundation “Poverello”. They care for a total of almost 70 children who live under unfavorable living conditions. In the homes, which work as a day care center, the children are taken care of by guardians and volunteers. They help them progress and integrate, especially in learning, eating, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene. They mostly need long-term food and cash contributions.
