23rd Winter Congress of the European Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery

The winter congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) was another opportunity for our doctors to improve their theoretical and practical experience, and to acquire new knowledge and skills from global ophthalmology practice.

This year’s winter congress was held in the period from 15.02.-17.02.2019. in Athens. This renowned ophthalmology meeting was attended by nearly 2,000 ophthalmologists from all over Europe and the world. Among the lecturers were ophthalmological virtuosos such as B. Malyugin (Russia), J. Kanellopoulus (Greece), R. Nujits (Netherlands), T. Kohnen (Germany), E. Rosen (England), J. Guell (Spain), I. Pallikaris (Greece), R. Packard (England), O. Findl (Austria), V. Katsanevaki (Greece) and many others.

The diverse program includes current topics in cataract surgery and refractive surgery presented through symposia, courses, oral presentations and poster presentations.

The representative of the Center for Laser Eye Surgery Perfect Vision Dr. Branka Ivošević, by participating in this year’s congress, had the opportunity to exchange practical and theoretical knowledge and skills in the field of cataract surgery and refractive surgery with top surgeons, which will undoubtedly affect the improvement of our work and the quality of services we provide to our patients.
