20th Congress of the Association of Ophthalmologists of Serbia
In the period from September 26 to 28, 2019, the 20th Congress of the Association of Ophthalmologists of Serbia with international participation was held at the Master Congress Center in Novi Sad.
As part of the first Retina session, the paper on “Visual recovery after classic retinal ablation surgery” was presented by Assoc. Dr. Sandra Jovanović, our long-time expert consultant in the field of retina. Prof. also took an active part in the congress. Dr. Nikola Babić, our expert consultant in the field of glaucoma, who, as part of the “Application of New Technologies in Ophthalmology” Course, presented a paper on the topic “The Significance of OCT in Monitoring the Progression of Glaucoma.”
Following the doctrine of continuous education and training, the medical team of the Perfect Vision Eye Center attended the largest national ophthalmology meeting this year. Through participation in lectures by ophthalmologists from the country and abroad, as well as professional courses, in the field of cataract surgery, treatment of retinal diseases, corneal diseases, glaucoma, eye diseases as part of systemic diseases, children’s ophthalmology, members of our team acquired numerous useful knowledge and exchanged practical experiences with colleagues from Serbia and the region.
This year, too, a Symposium of nurses and technicians was organized, which was attended by a team of our nurses.
