39th Congress of the European Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery

The most important European ophthalmological meeting organized by the European Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS), the 39th in a row, was held in Amsterdam, in the period from October 8 to 11, 2021.

Doctors and consultants of the Center for Laser Eye Surgery Perfect Vision, Ph.D. Branka Ivošević , Assoc. Dr. Ivan Marjanović and Prof. Dr. Sofija Davidović .

Due to the difficult conditions caused by the Covid19 pandemic, the congress was somewhat smaller than usual, bearing in mind that an online platform was also organized. Nevertheless, our doctors had the privilege of attending lectures by some of the most prominent experts in the field of ophthalmology. We exchanged practical experiences with colleagues from all over the world. We had the honor to spend some time in a pleasant conversation with prof. Rafael I. Barraquer , director of the largest ophthalmological institute in Spain “Barraquer Ophthalmology Center” and one of the best anterior segment surgeons in Europe.

We see the privilege of exchanging experiences in the company of the best ophthalmologists in the world as an opportunity to provide our patients with even better services by adopting new knowledge and trends in the field of ophthalmic surgery. We are especially pleased to confirm that the Center for Laser Eye Surgery Perfect Vision keeps pace with modern world ophthalmology.
