Participation in the “EY Entrepreneur of the Year” competition

Audit consultancy firm Ernst & Young (EY) organizes the “EY Entrepreneur of the Year” competition for the best domestic entrepreneurs in Serbia for the tenth year. It was a great honor and pleasure for us to be among the selected 34 best domestic entrepreneurs in 2021, which was more than challenging.

EY Entrepreneur of the Year is a prestigious global award for achievements in business. The program is global in nature and recognizes entrepreneurs who have achieved success with the help of their vision, innovation and leadership. As the only award of its kind, it is awarded at the regional, national and global level in 60 countries around the world.

This program supports and encourages the qualities that the best domestic entrepreneurs should possess – entrepreneurial spirit, vision and strategy, concrete financial indicators, regional or international business, creativity and innovation as well as personal integrity . 34 candidates from 28 companies, operating in 16 industries and 9 cities of Serbia, participated in this year’s program. These companies employ over 2,000 people, and in the previous year alone, they achieved a total business income of 122 million euros.

This year’s selection is supported by the Ministry of Economy , Radio Television of Serbia , Biznis & Finansije magazine and eKapija business portal. The independent jury was represented by Darko Budeč, Ivan Rakič and Dragan Filipović, chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Generali Osiguranja Srbija, which acted as the general sponsor of the program.
