On Friday, November 22, we organized another in a series of humanitarian actions, this time for our youngest patients. On the occasion of World Children’s Day, Dr. Tamara Kljaković Avramović, pediatric ophthalmologist, performed free eye examinations for children aged 4-10 years.
In the pleasant atmosphere of our eye center, we hosted a large number of children accompanied by their parents. After the examinations, the parents received an expert opinion on the condition of their children’s vision, any observed anomalies, as well as recommendations for further treatment.
With this action, we tried to contribute to increasing parents’ awareness of the importance of ophthalmological examinations in the 4th and 6th year of a child’s life, as key ages for noticing and treating anomalies such as: high diopters, differences in diopters between two eyes, presbyopia, etc. If the above-mentioned anomalies are not noticed in time and adequate treatment is not started, it can lead to the development of low vision (insufficiently developed vision), which represents a major handicap for the child and parents.

Vanja Forgić is employed at the Center for Laser Eye Surgery Perfect Vision as a nurse. After more than a year of observing satisfied patients after laser diopter removal, Vanja decided to become one of them.

Among the many patients who have trusted us, there are Nikola and Jovana Rašić from Belgrade. After detailed research and reading the experiences of other patients after surgery, they chose the Center for Laser Eye Surgery Perfect Vision as the facility where they want to get rid of diopters and the need to wear glasses and contact lenses forever.
Jovana (24) was a suitable candidate for laser diopter removal, which was performed using the PRK method. Nikoli (22) underwent an operation with the installation of intraocular lenses in both eyes.

In a special New Year’s interview for YuEco TV, Dr. Branka Ivošević pointed out why 2018 was a special year for the Center for Laser Eye Surgery “Perfect Vision”, as well as what the plans are for the future. Along with a tour of the clinic and the presentation of the new, renovated space, Dr. Ivošević gave the audience important information about the most frequently performed operations – laser dioptre removal and cataract surgery with the installation of all types of intraocular lenses.
As a guest on the show “Health and You”, Dr. Branka Ivošević talked about intraocular lenses – what they are and what types there are. Emphasis is placed on multifocal intraocular lenses as a premium service, which is becoming more and more popular among patients year after year. With this operation, even patients older than 45 can achieve perfect vision at all distances without glasses and contact lenses.
As a guest of the show “Zdravlje i Vi”, which premieres on TV Pink 2, Dr. Branka Ivošević discussed the topic of laser dioptre removal. On that occasion, Dr. Ivošević highlighted all the most important information about this intervention, providing useful advice to patients about the procedure before, during and after laser dioptre removal.
The center for laser eye surgery “Perfect Vision” was founded in 2010, as part of the Kuća zdravlja Polyclinic. “Perfect Vision” is located in an imposing space built at the end of the 19th century in the recognizable spirit of neoclassicism.
Due to the increased volume of work, we felt the need for spatial expansion. After intensive works that lasted 3 months and involved over 50 workers, the space of the Perfect Vision Eye Center today represents an interesting combination of traditional and modern.
Part of the existing space on the ground floor was adapted, and the space on the first floor was reconstructed into a surgical block with two operating rooms.
“Perfect Vision” now covers an area of 600m 2 , including four ophthalmology surgeries, a cabinet for laser dioptre removal, a surgical block with two operating theaters and a room for preoperative preparation of patients, as well as two two-bed suites for accommodating patients from other cities of our country and abroad.
