Get to know your eyes
Your eyes are just short of an optical miracle. The eye is a complex optical system. It consists of a part that refracts light (cornea, aqueous humor, lens, vitreous body) and a part that receives the image of the observed object (retina).
Your eyes work like a camera. A beam of light passes through the clear front part of the eye (cornea), then through the eye’s lens which projects it onto the “screen” at the back of the eye (retina). There, millions of photoreceptors (nerve cells sensitive to light) convert the image into electrical impulses that are transmitted to your brain via the optic nerve.
From the range of high-quality services we provide to our patients, we especially highlight
Laser vision correction is a painless and safe procedure during which UV rays change the shape and thickness of the cornea, allowing us to correct the diopter.
